Camps

A few examples of the WSU Ferry County 4-H camps that are offered for 4-H youth:

Ferry-Okanogan 4-H Natural Resource Camp will be held July 27-30, 2009 at Camp Tokiwanee, Lost Lake located near Bonaparte.

Horse Day Camp is generally held in June of each year. The camp is located at the Ferry County Fairgrounds in Republic and has camping available for those wishing to stay overnight.

Skwant 4-H Life and Science Camp will be held in late June at the Paschal Sherman Indian School on the Colville Indian Reservation near Omak, WA. This week long camp, for middle school age campers, allows camp participants to engage in canoeing, swimming, rock climbing, archaeology and ethno-botany, forestry, geology, chemistry, biology, archery, anthropology, and animal science.
