Location: Peterson’s Cedar Ridge Farms, in Republic, with Veterinarian Dr. Mary Delorey
Peterson’s are sponsoring this free clinic on horse dentistry just for 4-H members!
Come learn the proper care and maintenance of your horse’s mouth!
No registration required. There will be door prizes and lots of great information.

Thursday / June 18 / Western Gaming / 8am to 5pm
Location: Ferry County Fair Grounds / Instructor: Lesa Bland
Correct fit of equipment, barrel pattern, pole pattern
Educational event: Video barrel racing with Charmayne James, vaccinations and West Nile video, Learn why’s and how-to shot clinic with Doris Bacon, DVM

Tuesday / June 23 / Body Control / 9am to 5pm
Location: Ferry County Fair Grounds / Instructor: Sharon Fouts
Exercise’s that will better help you understand how to move different parts of your horse, for better control for all disciplines.
Educational event: Body control series with Bob Avila, on video

Thursday / June 25 / Showmanship / 9am to 5pm
Location: Ferry County Fair Grounds / Instructor: Laura Sander,
What you should know for showmanship, and showmanship pattern practice, for preparation for competition
Educational event: “Keeping Clean by Going 4-H Green!” Learn why it is important to stay clean and off drugs!

Wednesday / July 1 / English/Jumping / 9am to 5pm
Location: Ferry County Fair Grounds / Instructor: Joelle Dawson-Barker
English equitation, 4-H rules to safe jumping and learning to jump
Educational event: GPS with Emily Burt, videos wrapping your horse legs, first aid for your horse and knowing how to take vital signs
