What is 4-H Youth Development?

Ferry County 4-H Logo

Youth learn by doing in Ferry County 4-H. They participate in projects that give them knowledge in the areas of science, agriculture, home economics, personal development, community service learning, leadership, and citizenship. Often the knowledge youth gain in 4-H leads to a career. Youth learn to define and solve problems facing them and their communities. The interest-driven project is the foundation of the 4-H Program. Flexibility in learning offered, and the variety and number of projects are the keys to 4-H success in Ferry County. The five types of 4-H enrollments are: Organized 4-H Club, Individual/Family Club, Special Interest, School Enrichment, and School-Age Care.

Congratulations
