Each July, 4-H members from across Ferry and Stevens Counties spend an evening at the Republic Gun Club and Rifle Range to participate in the Annual Ferry County 4-H Shooting Sports Jamboree.

Ferry County 4-H Shooting Sports Jamboree

The evening is a round-robin event, allowing youth to try new shooting sports activities. Each 4-H youth participant will be instructed in firearm safety and have the opportunity to shoot rifle, pistol, shotgun and archery. This is a great opportunity to try something fun and new in shooting sports! Youth will receive prizes and top shooters will be recognized.

If you are not a 4-H member, but would like to participate, contact the WSU Ferry County Extension Office, (509) 775-5235, for enrollment information. For more information on how to participate in the 4-H Shooting Sports Jamboree contact Emily Burt at WSU Ferry County Extension: (509) 775-5235.
