| The Forest Stewardship Coached Planning Program is an excellent learning opportunity for forest landowners, whether you own 5, 50, or 500 acres of trees. This 28-hour course emphasizes practical stewardship of forest resources. With guidance and one-on-one assistance, you will develop your own forest management plan based on your family's goals and the characteristics of your property. An approved plan may be used to qualify for tax incentive programs administered by Ferry County. Instructors cover topics such as forest health, silviculture, wildlife habitat enhancement, soils, special forest products, and how to identify and implement your goals and objectives. |

The Forest Stewardship Coached Planning Class is taught once a year in Ferry County. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early! The cost for the 8-week session is $75.00 per family/ownership and includes class materials, aerial photos and maps, and an individual site visit with a forester.
